We've received lots of questions about the payment drop box. For the time being, please use the drop box at the old City Hall Building at 320 N First. We check this box every day for payments. Plans are being made to install a payment drop box at the new City Hall, and we'll let you when it becomes available.

  • Public Meetings & Public Notices-How does it all work

Regular meetings of the Kalama City Council are held on the First and Third Wednesdays of each month. Kalama Planning Commission meetings are on the Second Thursday of each month. These are regular meetings set by the City’s code and therefore do not require publication. Special meetings are held on an individual issue and only the issue can be discussed at that meeting. Special meetings require a 24 notice be sent to all Council members and the newspaper of record. Should a meeting be canceled due to lack of a quorum, then that is posted at the time of the meeting cancellation.
