COVID-19 - Financial Hardship
The City of Kalama recognizes the hardships the current COVID-19 crisis is having on the citizens and small business owners of our community. If you are experiencing financial hardships due to COVID-19 restrictions, please contact City Hall at 360-673-4554 or firstname.lastname@example.org to make arrangements for a utility payment plan to be put in place to help through this period. The City wants to work proactively with the citizens being affected by this crisis. The City has suspended late fees for March and April. Communication with the City will ensure that services are not disconnected for non-payment. Payment arrangements are available to all citizens, but we will require information to confirm the hardship has been created by the COVID-19 crisis to qualify for COVID relief. Citizens may be able to qualify for other programs the City has such as the low-income discount for a temporary period during the crisis as well.
