at 1:30pm at Kalama City Hall.
What Do We Do?
Fundraisers for New Books, Story Time, Future
Projects, DVD's, Book Clubs,
Busy Boxes, Buckets of Books, Books for Low
Income Families and much more.
We have
Story Time,
Snacks and crafts each month on the second Saturday at 2 o'clock.
We are having
a used book sale the second Saturday of each month also at the
library from
noon to 4, during the summer months of June, July and August.
Who are F,O,L.K?
Volunteers of all ages working together to promote literacy, reading
and fun
for the community of Kalama.
In 2003 the Friends of the Library at Kalama (FOLK) was successfully
formed as a non-profit organization by fulfilling both state and
federal
requirements. FOLK's purpose is to maintain an association of
persons
with a common concern for the Kalama Public
Library, with focus on
library expansion and participation in community life. FOLK's
conviction
is that good library service is important to everyone.
