Kalama
Community Education Classes
Winter 2008
The Winter 2008 classes are just around the corner! Classes
will continue being held at the Kalama Community Center located
at 316 Elm St., Kalama, WA. Beginning classes will start
January 2, 2008 and be held thru March 31, 2008. This quarter
we will be offering Low Impact Aerobics, Akido (Martial Arts),
and Quilting with Maxine. *Classes will be subject to
cancellation if not filled.
Low Impact Aerobics
Cost: $30.00/
10 classes
This class
is high energy, low impact, and comes along with great
music! Classes will include core strength teaching, rhythm, and
coordination.
Please
bring:
Appropriate workout clothing, towel, floor mat, & water bottle;
1-5lb hand weights are optional.
Participants: adults (18 years and older).

Aikido
Yuishinkai - Crooked Branch Dojo
Cost: $50.00/ 10 classes

Budo (Martial Art)
Aikido
practice develops coordination, flexibility, concentration,
communication & endurance. This class is for beginners.
Participants: Ages 15 + (Under 18 need parental waiver).
Seniors welcome.
Kids
class (ages 7-14) beginning soon depending on interest.

time of purchase you will be given a punch card for your class.
Each punch card will include 10 classes, and expire 6 months
from the date of purchase. (Please see above for times and
pricing).
Quilting
with Maxine
Cost: $45.00/ + cost of
materials
Enjoy the
wonderful art of sewing and quilting. This exciting class will
be making
2-3 table
runners during this Winter session.
Please
Bring:
Sewing machine. The instructor will contact you prior to the
class regarding needed supplies/materials.

Please fill out a separate registration form for each
participant. Classes may be cancelled one week before the
event with low registration, so get your registration in early
to reserve your space in the class! All registrations MUST be
received by the office prior to attendance at any class. Send
