Kalama Housing Authority
The
Housing Authority of the City of Kalama is a municipal corporation
established under Washington State
Law RCW 35.82. It was created to provide safe, decent, sanitary, and
affordable housing to low-income
families in the City of Kalama, Washington. Programs of the
authority are funded by federal, state and local
grants and subsidies. The authority is governed by a five member
board. The authority is not considered a
component unit of the City of Kalama, as the board independently
oversees the authority’s operations.
